Pinatas Mexican Grill 2

Yet again we went to Pinatas a few weeks ago!  The adventure this time was 10 times better than the last.  I had something I could tame, Chicken Burrito Enchilada Style and chips galore with all the salsas.  Unlike last time my eyes were not bigger than my stomach.

After we ordered, my eyes caught the Fried Cheesecake Burrito, on the menu.  I was so mad at myself that I didn't order that.  I said to my husband, *next time I am ordering the cheesecake burrito!  don't let me forget!*

The man at the counter smiled.  I told him how twice now i've said that i'm going to get that and haven't.

We got our drinks and dinner and began to eat (and that's putting it mild I chowed down).  About half way through eating the same man at the counter came over to our table with a clear plastic to go container.  Do you know what was in it?  THE FRIED CHEESECAKE BURRITO!  He says this is on me.  I was so over joyed.  I thanked him several times and blushed to a cherry red.  I was the happiest girl in the world, not because it was free but because he was so thoughtful.   I wanted to jump off my stool and smother him with hugs.  I figured that wouldn't be appropriate and could get my cheesecake burrito taken away.
Now, the cheesecake burrito was delicious.  Even after the ride home it took.  It was as smooth, creamy  creamcheese filling and  a nice crispy burrito wrapped it all together.  Very pretty to the eyes drizzled with chocolate syrup and a soft pile of whipped cream on the side.  It was an OMG moment when I bit into it. 
It was Heavenly and I can guarantee you I'll be getting that, now i can say, again. 
The staff there again, and I will never be able to say it enough, were kind and all smiles.

Pinatas Mexican Grill

I've been here twice and absolutely adore the small atmosphere.  The food is fantastic and I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.  You will never think about Taco Bell ever again. Last time I was there approximately a month ago I had to order the Monster Burrito.  It is MONSTEROUS!  If you can eat two, you Eat for Free.  So I ate half of one,  I tried.  Oh the salsas are to die for, fresh and yummy. The kids meals are excellent.  My daughter recommends the Mini Quesadillas with guacamole and salsa (the green).   You definately get your moneys worth at Pinatas Mexican Grill.  The service is counter service and super friendly.  Take out, delivery or dine in, it's speedy.  I can't wait to go back and have the Fajitas.  If you haven't been GO.  Make a family date, you're family will appreciate it.

Ground Round

I am one to enjoy going out to eat on occasion and have yet to have a bad experience.  Well tonight I've definately had a bad experience and it started with over shooting the turn.  We've been to Ground Round and was excellent but we get inside and it's practically empty; perfect.  No one was to be found to be seated.  Hmmmm!  We found them 5 minutes later in the game room.  Should have left right then but no I want a Burger!  We get seated order our dinner.  My daughter was having a Happy Face Pizza with Fries, Hubby ordered the Appetizer and a Bacon Cheeseburger Medium Rare and I had ordered a Mushroom Swiss Burger Medium, both with fries.  My daughter has to pee, kids the bathroom inspectors lol.  We return and the waitress says no pizza.  She settles for corn dogs. Tears welling up in her little eyes, I felt so bad.  Yet we should have left but no she wanted to stay.  The appetizer comes and we snack on that.  Was quite tasty and we were happy.  Dinner is served! Yay burgers.  My daughter starts in on her corn dogs and hubby is chowing down his burger... oh i'm so excited... take a big bite of my burger and it's bleeding all over my bun.  I look at hubby and he's like send it back.  So she takes it back and a couple minutes later here it comes.  Now i'm upset stomach has turned, shaking(i freak at raw burgers/steaks) and not impressed.  Well, I cut into it and god damn it,  it's still not cooked.  I ate around the edges, threw it down and said well that's it.  The taste was good but raw meat turns me off.  The waitress comes by and says *how is everything?* all I said was *NOT GOOD*.  She scoops up the plate says sorry and off she went.   My daughter orders a smoothy for her dessert and was waiting on our check.  One walk by I'll bring your check, second walk by I'll get your check right away and third walk by I'll get your check.  Finally on the fourth trip by the check comes. We paid it $37.50 + 5.00 tip = $42.50 for the shittiest meal I've ever had. We did have some good laughs.  Considering when you walk in there are papers taped up saying that No beer, liquor or wine will be served tonight.  In over hearing,  the Liquor License expired.  Now how do you let that happen?  There were some sad customers.  I'd drank my dinner instead of eating that ooozing burger.  So for all to know the cook sucks and the service isn't all that grand either.
